Amidst a space adorned with flags and flowers, the resounding sounds of military music, and the resounding marching commands, the ceremony perfectly depicted a glorious chapter of history with vivid imagery and sacred emotions, igniting pride in the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people.

More than 10,000 people participating in the parade and march, after passing the Independence Palace (District 1), dispersed in various directions throughout the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
From just after 8 a.m., the skies over Ho Chi Minh City lit up as dozens of fighter jets and helicopters from Bien Hoa airport advanced into the city center. Powerful Su-30MK2s roared through the air, performing spectacular maneuvers before dropping jamming flares twice, creating brilliant streaks of light like a greeting from the sky to the national celebration. Each aircraft carried 48 heat decoys – a modern defensive device – which simultaneously ignited, highlighting the red flag with a yellow star fluttering in the air.

On the ground, crowds had poured into the central streets early in the morning, immersing themselves in a solemn yet exhilarating atmosphere. Applause and cheers, along with the rhythmic drumming of the military band, opened a spectacular and moving ceremony. 48 marching contingents – from the military and police forces to the general public – marched in succession along the streets, each step a reminder of glorious history and a testament to the strength of national unity.

Behind the uniformity of every movement lie months of sweat and toil on the training ground. Some soldiers carry drums weighing 10 kg, others tubas weighing 14 kg, or helical horns up to 19 kg. All march in perfect harmony, as if they are not only performing their duty, but also carrying the indomitable spirit of their ancestors.
In particular, the presence of military delegations from China, Laos, and Cambodia contributed to showcasing the spirit of friendship and regional solidarity on this important Vietnamese holiday. International and traditional images coexisted, creating a harmonious symphony between the past, present, and future.

At each stop, where the soldiers rested, the bond between the military and the people became more evident than ever. Smiles, handshakes, words of thanks, and moments when people crowded around to take souvenir photos with the soldiers... all created a warm and sacred picture – where the distance between the military and the people was erased by trust, love, and respect.

People were excited and moved to see helicopters and fighter jets flying in the sky.

The group of young people arrived at 8 PM last night to await this historic moment.
The April 30th parade is not only a historical event, but also a moment of national pride. On a morning in April, in the city named after President Ho Chi Minh, as the footsteps of the soldiers harmonize with the hearts of the people, the whole country seems to move forward together – steadfast, proud, and full of hope.
