Lan (AkiLan), a girl born in 1997, from Me Linh - Hanoi, is a nature lover and has conquered the road to Lung Cung peak by herself. Her journey contains unforgettable memories, vividly depicting the beauty of this place.
Lung Cung - A natural picture of forests, mountains and clouds
Lan described Lung Cung as a beautiful picture with diverse landscapes: red maple forests in November and December, cool streams and clear waterfalls, ancient trees and bamboo forests. In particular, the scenery here in the late afternoon makes her satisfied, the sunset in Lung Cung is like a natural painting tinged with orange-red, combined with grass carpets and wildflower fields, creating a scene that makes anyone admire.
Lung Cung is like a beautiful picture with diverse scenery.
“I love the sunset here. Standing on the top of the mountain, watching the last rays of sunlight cover the valley, the shimmering light on the sea of clouds, feeling like touching the vastness of nature, that is the moment that makes me really proud to have overcome all the difficulties to stand here”. The sunset in Lung Cung is not only beautiful but also strangely peaceful, making anyone who sees it once want to keep that moment forever in their heart.

Watching the sunset from this height is truly a memorable experience.
The road to conquer Lung Cung
To reach the foot of Lung Cung mountain, Lan and her group had to go through an arduous but equally interesting motorbike taxi ride. “The road was rocky, muddy, and had many bumpy sections that made me feel like I was about to fly off the bike. But the drivers here were very skilled, and the places I thought I couldn’t get through were still steady on the wheel,” Lan said. For those who are passionate about adventure, this journey is not only a journey of discovery but also an opportunity to challenge yourself and conquer new limits.
The road is not too steep, suitable for beginners.
Lan shared that although the route is not too steep and suitable for beginners, conquering Lung Cung peak requires good physical strength and perseverance. “I just started trekking and the previous route I took was Ta Chi Nhu, but when I reached Lung Cung peak, I felt like I had surpassed myself,” she confided. Lan advised that climbers should prepare light clothes, keep warm at night, and choose bright-colored clothes to be both convenient in the mountain forest conditions and beautiful when taking photos at the peak.

Nature is as beautiful as a picture
Cloud hunting and stargazing in the mountains and forests
The end of October to December is the most ideal time for trekking in Lung Cung, when the weather turns cold and the landscape begins to change color. This is the time when it is easy to hunt for the sea of clouds and also the season when the maple leaves turn red across a corner of the sky, making the scenery look like poetry or painting. Lan and her group, although reaching the top later than other groups, were still determined to stay to watch the sunset. Lan recalls: “At that time, the mountain top was almost deserted, only my group remained, standing in the middle of the vast sky, red with the sunset. We sang together, listened to music together, and enjoyed every moment together.”

Not stopping there, at night, Lung Cung brings a sparkling and magical scene. In the bitter cold, Lan's group looks at the starry sky, letting their souls drift in the peaceful and clear space, where there is no city light, only the starlight as company.
For Lan, the journey to conquer Lung Cung is not just a simple trekking trip, but also a journey to explore and understand more about the new land and the people here. “Life here is still difficult but the people are very friendly and enthusiastic. The landscape still retains its wild and simple beauty, very worth exploring”, she shared.

Each trip is an opportunity to broaden her horizons, for Lan to feel more clearly the value of freedom and self-confidence. “Before entering married life, I advise women to try trekking once, to feel stronger than ever and not miss sunsets like in Lung Cung.”
