Lan (AkiLan), a girl born in 1997 from Me Linh - Hanoi, is a nature lover and has conquered the trail to the summit of Lung Cung on her own. Her journey is filled with unforgettable memories, vividly portraying the beauty of this place.
Lung Cung - A natural landscape encompassing forests, mountains, and clouds.
Lan described Lung Cung as a stunning painting with diverse scenery: vibrant red maple forests in November and December, cool streams and clear waterfalls, ancient trees and bamboo groves. She was particularly captivated by the scenery at sunset; the sunset in Lung Cung resembled a natural painting tinged with orange and red, combined with meadows and fields of wildflowers, creating a breathtaking scene that would leave anyone in awe.
Lung Cung is like a beautiful painting with diverse scenery.
“I love the sunsets here. Standing on the mountaintop, watching the last rays of sunlight spread across the valley, the light shimmering on the sea of clouds, it feels like touching the vastness of nature. That's a moment that makes me truly proud to have overcome all difficulties to stand here.” The sunsets in Lung Cung are not only beautiful but also strangely peaceful, making anyone who witnesses them want to cherish that moment forever.

Watching the sunset from this altitude is truly a memorable experience.
The path to conquering Lung Cung
To reach the foot of Lung Cung mountain, Lan and her group had to endure a challenging yet exciting motorbike ride. “The road was rocky, muddy, and many sections were so bumpy that I felt like I was about to fly off the motorbike. But the drivers here are very skilled; they confidently navigated through places I thought were impossible,” Lan recounted. For those who love adventure, this journey is not only a quest for discovery but also an opportunity to challenge oneself and conquer new limits.
The path isn't too steep, making it suitable for beginners.
Lan shared that although the route isn't too steep and is suitable for beginners, conquering Lung Cung peak requires good physical fitness and perseverance. "I've only just started trekking, and the previous route I did was Ta Chi Nhu, but when I reached Lung Cung peak, I felt like I had overcome myself," she confided. Lan advises that climbers should prepare lightweight clothing, stay warm at night, and choose brightly colored outfits for both practicality in the mountainous terrain and for beautiful photos at the summit.

Nature is as beautiful as a painting.

The period from late October to December is the ideal time for trekking in Lung Cung, when the weather turns cold and the landscape begins to change color. This is when it's easiest to capture sea of clouds, and it's also the season when maple leaves turn a vibrant red, creating a picturesque scene. Lan and her group, despite reaching the summit later than other groups, were determined to stay and watch the sunset. Lan recalled: “At that time, the mountaintop was almost deserted, with only our group standing amidst the vast sky, bathed in the fiery red of the setting sun. We sang together, listened to music, and enjoyed every moment together.”

But that's not all; at night, Lung Cung offers a dazzling and magical scene. Amidst the crisp cold, Lan's group gazed at the star-filled sky, letting their minds wander in the peaceful and pristine atmosphere, a place devoid of city lights, with only the stars as their companion.
For Lan, the journey to conquer Lung Cung was not just a simple trekking trip, but also a journey of discovery, to learn more about the new land and its people. “Life here is still difficult, but the people are very friendly and enthusiastic. The scenery remains pristine and tranquil, well worth exploring,” she shared.

Each trip is an opportunity to broaden one's horizons, allowing Lan to better appreciate the value of freedom and self-belief. "Before entering married life, I advise young women to try trekking at least once, to feel stronger than ever and to not miss sunsets like the one in Lung Cung."
