According to statistics from the Cuc Phuong National Park Management Board, in the first four days of May, more than 10,000 tourists visited the park.
Every year, the butterfly season usually starts around the end of April, but this year, the butterfly season in Cuc Phuong National Park has already begun a week ago. The number of visitors is high both on weekdays and weekends.

The number of visitors to Cuc Phuong National Park in the past month (March 15th - April 15th) reached nearly 12,000. In the first week of butterfly season (April 8th - April 15th), the number of visitors reached nearly 5,000.

The national park is located on the border of three provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa, with the main gate in Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province. Cuc Phuong National Park is home to over 400 species of butterflies, including swallowtail butterflies, citrus butterflies, and powder butterflies, in a variety of colors and sizes, with white and yellow butterflies being the most common. The butterfly season in Cuc Phuong lasts until around the end of May.
Cuc Phuong National Park is also famous for its butterfly season, from the end of April to the end of May. Millions of white butterflies flying in swarms along the roads leading into the national park are a characteristic sight that attracts tourists. The entrance fee to the park is 60,000 VND for adults and 10,000 VND for children (grades 1 to 11). Children under 6 years old are free.
To ensure the safety of visitors and protect the environment, the Cuc Phuong National Park Management Board has issued several recommendations: Visitors should not wave their hands or chase butterflies. Littering is prohibited. Campfires are not allowed.
