Air New Zealand has consistently been honored with TripAdvisor Readers' Choice Awards in numerous categories.
Accordingly, Air New Zealand was ranked second globally and was named the Best Airline in the South Pacific region.
The airline's Premium Economy class continues to be voted the best Premium Economy class in the world.
Air New Zealand also ranked first in the following categories: Best Business Class in the South Pacific, Best Premium Economy Class in the South Pacific, and Best Economy Class in the South Pacific.
These awards are ranked based on qualitative and quantitative surveys of TripAdvisor readers over a 12-month period.
According to Mike Tod, Director of Marketing & Client Services at Air New Zealand, this award reaffirms the airline's commitment to providing exceptional experiences for more than 16 million passengers each year.

Following two successful seasons of direct flights to Vietnam, Air New Zealand will continue to operate a direct route connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Auckland (New Zealand).
For the 2018 travel season, from June 23rd to October 23rd, the airline will operate two direct flights per week between Auckland and Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. To celebrate, Air New Zealand is also introducing a special promotion: one free checked baggage allowance of 23kg for the first 100 Vietnamese students studying in New Zealand.
