Indian Food Week at JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of India and the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India, JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Hanoi, is co-organizing an Indian food festival at JW Café restaurant. From March 20th to April 2nd, 2017, diners attending the festival will have the opportunity to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine and explore the vibrant culture of the world's second most populous country.

 

Indian cuisine, with its diverse and rich flavors, is a perfect blend of dozens of different spices, creating a powerful stimulation for the senses of smell, sight, and taste. Guests at JW Café during these days will enjoy over 64 exquisite dishes prepared by the talented guest chef Bijoy Krishna Maity – Sous Chef Banquets of the JW Marriott Kolkata. The culinary journey of this South Asian country begins with Naan bread and Tandoori Roti, indispensable in any daily Indian meal, to light and creamy curries made with dairy products such as yogurt, fresh milk, and whole milk (lamb curry - Dum Ka Murgh, chicken curry - Murgh Makai Ka Soweta, fish curry – Fish Malabar Curry…), along with many other tempting main courses and desserts that will satisfy even the most discerning diners.

 

At this food festival, in addition to the distinctive savory dishes, diners can also choose from a variety of novel vegetarian menus to experience, including vegetarian dishes made from potatoes, vegetables, and beans such as: Dal Makhni – Bean Curry, Rajma Masala – Rajma Curry, and Vegetable Jhalfrezi – Chickpea Curry…

In particular, at 11:00 AM on March 23rd, diners will be treated to a culinary demonstration by a talented chef at The Studio area of ​​the JW Marriott Hanoi hotel.
