The "Timeless Beauty" photo contest was an initiative to encourage people, especially young people, to share and celebrate the beauty of their homeland. From the contest, emotionally charged photos depicting Vietnamese life and spirit inspired singer Hoang Ton and his close friend Phuc Bo to compose the song "My Name is Vietnam."
In addition, the competition also includes black and white photographs capturing everyday moments. These include images of a truly exquisite cup of coffee, steaming and evoking a dreamy feeling in a tranquil morning, where people leisurely observe the rhythm and breath of life around them. There are photographs capturing the smiles and innocent faces of playful Vietnamese children, brimming with happiness. There are also images depicting the resilience of Vietnamese people in their work and production: a woman carrying goods through a downpour, a group of fishermen casting their nets into the vast ocean, a group of river dwellers steadily rowing their boats forward…

Following the photos sent from all over the country, the artist's mind seems to be given wings, soaring through provinces and cities, turning the pages of the nation's history and hoping for a strong Vietnam in the future.
Young singer Hoang Ton said that in "The Essence of Time," the photos are truly beautiful and touch the hearts of viewers. Many of these photos capture moments and ideas he wanted to incorporate into his "spiritual creation," through the language of music.

Singer Hoang Ton shared that during the songwriting process, the lyrics and emotions flowed very naturally and simply, reflecting the patriotic perspective he conveyed through this song.
