The Peru tourism promotion seminar officially took place on the afternoon of July 7, 2016, at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel. During the seminar, the Peruvian Embassy and Vietravel provided media representatives and tourists interested in Peru with diverse information about this destination, including: the best time to visit Peru, the process of applying for and being interviewed for a Peruvian visa, prominent tourist attractions, transportation options, and suggested itineraries for those interested in organized tours…

A view of the Peru tourism promotion seminar.

Peru is a South American country with many beautiful sights such as the World Heritage site Machu Picchu, the ancient city of Cusco, Lake Titicaca, etc. However, it remains relatively unknown to Vietnamese tourists because there are no direct flights from Vietnam to this country. Vietnamese tourists traveling to Peru must transit through Japan and the United States, or through France or Thailand, following four specific flight routes: from Vietnam via Japan - USA - Peru; from Vietnam via France - Peru; from Vietnam - Thailand - Peru; from Vietnam - Qatar - Brazil - Peru; and some routes require a visa from the transit country, such as the United States.
