Hue - Da Nang tourist train routeAbout 102 km long, passing through famous landmarks such as Lang Co, Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Bay and Tien Sa Port... Traveling by train is an opportunity for visitors to fully admire the majestic and poetic natural beauty of the Central region.
As planned, there will be two pairs of tourist trains running the Hue - Da Nang route and vice versa every day in the morning and afternoon.
Opening of the train line named "Connecting Central Heritage" at Hue station (Hue city) at the end of March 2024.
Each train consists of 7 carriages, including 4 soft-seat carriages serving 56 seats and 1 community carriage so that passengers can enjoy and experience artistic activities, cuisine, shopping... typical of the ancient capital of Hue and the Central region.
Traveling by train is a completely different experience than traveling by plane or car. Travelers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a slow, relaxing pace of life and enjoy the fresh, cool air. On the train, visitors can also participate in recreational activities such as reading books, listening to music or chatting with friends and relatives.
The expected ticket price is 150,000 VND/ticket, 20% discount for tourism units under the Thua Thien - Hue and Da Nang Tourism Associations, and monthly tickets are 900,000 VND/ticket and discounts are applied for policy beneficiaries.
The operation of the Hue - Da Nang tourist train route is expected to contribute to promoting tourism in the two localities, while attracting international tourists to Vietnam. This is an important step in the tourism development strategy of the Vietnam railway industry.
