Hue - Da Nang tourist train routeApproximately 102 km long, the train journey passes through famous landmarks such as Lang Co, Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Bay, and Tien Sa Port... Traveling by train is an opportunity for tourists to fully admire the majestic and romantic natural beauty of the Central region of Vietnam.
According to the plan, there will be two pairs of tourist trains each day operating between Hue and Da Nang, and vice versa, during the morning and afternoon hours.
The train line named "Connecting Central Vietnam Heritage" will be launched at Hue Station (Hue City) at the end of March 2024.
Each train consists of 7 carriages, including 4 soft-seat carriages with 56 seats and 1 communal carriage where passengers can enjoy and experience art, cuisine, shopping, and other activities characteristic of the ancient city of Hue and Central Vietnam.
Traveling by train is a completely different experience compared to traveling by plane or car. Passengers have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a slow-paced, relaxed lifestyle and enjoy the fresh, cool air. Onboard, passengers can also participate in recreational activities such as reading, listening to music, or chatting with friends and family.
The expected ticket price is 150,000 VND/ticket, with a 20% discount for tourism units belonging to the Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang Tourism Associations. Monthly passes are priced at 900,000 VND/ticket, with discounts for eligible individuals.
The launch of the Hue-Da Nang tourist train route is expected to contribute to boosting tourism in both localities and attract international tourists to Vietnam. This is an important step in the tourism development strategy of Vietnam's railway industry.
