Following an assessment and remediation process, starting from September 13th, Ha Long City was ready to welcome tourists back, attracting the attention of numerous domestic and international visitors.

Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi), with wind speeds reaching level 12 and gusts up to level 14, swept through Ha Long Bay, causing serious damage. Strong gusts blew away corrugated iron roofs, uprooted ancient trees, and violent waves crashed against the shore, damaging many floating houses and boats. Ha Long Bay, once peaceful and picturesque, has become a scene of devastation.

After being affected by the storm, Quang Ninh is ready to reopen to tourists starting September 13th.
