Ha Long City - Quang Ninh Province has just announced that it will hold a Hot Air Balloon Festival on the occasion of the upcoming National Day holiday on September 2. The program is held for the first time in this city to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay becoming a World Natural Heritage (1994-2024).
The festival has the theme "Heritage City - Colors of Ha Long". With special activities including: Hot air balloon flying, hot air balloon sightseeing, hot air balloon flower lantern night, hot air balloon decoration on the ground. The experiential activities are invested and carefully prepared, promising to bring visitors the best experiences when conquering the sky of the heritage bay. The venue is at 30/10 Square and Ocean Park Beach.
October 30 Square will be the venue for the festival.
The festival is expected to open on the morning of September 1. After the opening ceremony, hot air balloon flights will take place from 7am to 9am and from 4:30pm every day. To control the number of participants, Ha Long City will issue free balloon tickets to residents and tourists.
Tourists will be given free tickets to attend the festival.
The tour inside the hot air balloon will take place at 30/10 Square, from 7:30 to 9:30 am and from 3:30 pm every day. In addition, the hot air balloon flower lantern night will be held at 7:30 pm on 2/9/2024 at 30/10 Square, while the ground decoration balloon will take place on 1 and 2/9.
Experiential activities in the festival have the theme "Heritage City - Colors of Ha Long".
The hot air balloon festival will bring to the people and tourists impressive experiences and interesting, unforgettable feelings when they can see from above the entire beautiful, majestic space of Ha Long - the Heritage City. This is an effort of the Quang Ninh tourism industry with the desire to promote the image, culture and people of Ha Long, to create attractive tourism products in the summer of 2024, contributing to attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.
