Tam Thanh mural village is located about 7 km from Tam Ky city (Quang Nam), one side facing the sea and the other side facing the Truong Giang river.

The old murals from two years ago still attract many tourists.
Continuing the first phase of the Korean-Vietnamese community art exchange project that began two years ago, last May, Korean artists returned to Tam Thanh with Vietnamese art students to paint 30 more murals and repaint 50 houses.

The village becomes an interesting tourist destination
The project's paintings have helped the pristine fishing village become the first mural village in Vietnam, welcoming thousands of visitors and creating more livelihoods for the people.

Painting of Park Hang Seo and his students and the Vietnam U23 team
This time, Korean artists dedicated a painting to the U23 Vietnam football team. The painting depicts coach Park Hang Seo and a celebration of Vietnamese players in the final match against Uzbekistan.

The main themes in the murals are associated with the daily life of local people. One painting depicts children playing at the seaside.

Mr. Lee Gang Jun – Art Director of Tam Thanh Mural Village Project – said that in this painting session, the longevity of the murals was of special concern to the Korean artists. “Before painting the fence, the house walls were scrubbed and primed, and at the same time, we organized training on knowledge of painting preservation to help people master and increase the longevity of the murals,” said Mr. Lee Gang Jun.

Learning from the first time painting on house walls, some houses were demolished by the people when it was time to renovate. This time, the Korean artists carefully researched with the people beforehand.
