Commenting on these stimulus activities, Mr. Vu The Binh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association: "While people are still wondering about leaving their homes, the large groups of tourists flocking to tourist attractions in many localities will create a strong media effect, helping the tourism industry recover."

However, Mr. Le Quang Tung, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism, noted that Ho Chi Minh City needs to strictly control this program, ensuring price incentives but not allowing unfair competition to occur, putting pressure on small businesses. At the same time, the city needs to accompany and promptly deploy support packages for tourism businesses to overcome difficult times.
