Provinces and cities from Quang Ninh to Nghe An have issued a ban on the sea. Accordingly, Quang Ninh and Hai Phong will ban the sea from 11am today; Thai Binh and Nghe An from 5am; Nam Dinh from 6am, Thanh Hoa from 12pm, and Ninh Binh from 3pm on September 5.

In Hai Phong and Quang Ninh, there are currently 879 tourists on the islands who have received information about the storm and proactively prepared a response plan. According to the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, all guests staying on Ha Long Bay will return to shore before 11am on September 6, following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has issued a directive requiring a number of airports to temporarily suspend operations due to the impact of storm YAGI, including: Van Don Airport (Quang Ninh) will temporarily suspend operations from 4am to 4pm on September 7; Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong) will suspend operations from 5am to 4pm on September 7; Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) will temporarily close from 10am to 7pm on September 7, Tho Xuan Airport (Thanh Hoa) will close from 12pm to 10pm on September 7.
