According to the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention and Control, despite outstanding results in responding to storms, the damage caused by storms remains significant, due to both subjective and objective factors such as:

Despite proactive measures implemented by local authorities to respond to Typhoon Yagi, the destructive power of the natural disaster exceeded all expectations. Bên cạnh những kết quả nổi bật trong công tác triển khai ứng phó với bão, thiệt hại do bão gây ra vẫn còn rất lớn

Despite the outstanding results in the implementation of storm response efforts, the damage caused by the storm remains very significant.

In particular, coastal areas are heavily affected by large waves and high tides. Many boats have sunk or been swept away, causing significant economic losses for fishermen. Unfortunately, some people, including boat owners and crew members, have not followed the authorities' recommendations, leading to regrettable consequences.

Given the prolonged heavy rainfall following Typhoon No. 3, which threatens to cause serious consequences, the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention and Control has requested localities to urgently implement comprehensive response measures. Specifically, localities need to maintain the ban on sea travel, strengthen inspections and reviews of areas at high risk of flooding and landslides, and prepare forces and equipment for emergency response.

In addition, addressing the aftermath of the storm and stabilizing people's lives should be given top priority. Only with close coordination between all levels of government and the people can we overcome this difficult period.
