In 2018, the International Children's Festival was held at Vinpearl Land Nha Trang. This year, the organizers decided to choose Vinpearl Nam Hoi An as the venue with the theme "Colors of Culture from Four Corners of the World" and with the participation of 8 countries: Armenia, the Russian Federation, China, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.

At the 2019 International Children's Festival, Vietnamese and international children's delegations will experience key activities such as: Cultural experiences in Hoi An ancient town through activities like tailoring traditional Ao Dai dresses, visiting ancient houses, the Japanese Bridge, assembly halls, interacting with artisans, sightseeing on the Hoai River, experiencing Hoi An specialties, watching Bai Choi folk singing, exploring lantern making, Thanh Ha pottery, Cam Thanh bamboo handicraft, and Cam Thanh coconut leaf folding; Visiting River Safari and experiencing typical Vietnamese traditional craft villages such as Do paper making, Dong Ho painting printing, rice harvesting, mask making, weaving, silk weaving, and pottery making… at the Folk Culture Island in the Vinpearl Land Nam Hoi An complex.

The highlight of the festival is the "Colors of Culture from Four Corners of the World" art gala night, featuring spectacular and impressive performances by international and Vietnamese children's groups. The Korean children's group Jazz Korea Junior BigBand is the first children's jazz band in Korea; the Kalinka children's folk dance group from Russia will perform a dance with wooden spoons – a dance that brings to the audience the gentle and graceful charm of Russian girls in colorful and elegant costumes. The Thai children's art group from Joselp Nakhon Sawan School – a school that has won six consecutive first prizes in six different national music competitions – will perform a classical mask dance – a beautiful dance usually only performed at royal banquets. The Philippine children's group will present the Tinikling folk dance – the most popular dance in the Philippines, named after a long-legged bird found in the country. The Vinschool art troupe, with their performance of "Festival Seasons," tells the story of the festival activities and distinctive culture of each region of Vietnam. The Gala Night also features professional dancers from the Hoang Thong Dance Troupe and many other outstanding artistic performances.
Vietnam Television (VTV), in collaboration with the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, organized the 2019 International Children's Festival with the support of Vinpearl Land.
